This position is responsible for construction inspection, construction materials testing, and documentation of various roadway and/or bridge construction projects located throughout Knoxville and the surrounding counties in eastern Tennessee.

 

Responsibilities include the construction inspection, construction material testing, and reporting of DOT highway and bridge construction project operations.

Minimum of two years experience in construction, CMT, and/or land surverying on TDOT roadway and/or bridge projects is necessary. An active ACI certification or TDOT concrete certification is required. Strong math, reading and writing skills are a must. TDOT Asphalt Roadway, TDOT Asphalt Plant, TDOT Soils & Aggregates, TODOT EPSC Level I, NICET certifications are preferred.
