Aid in the design, construction, maintenance, operation and upgrade of facilities for the assembly and processing of superconducting rd (SRF) cavities and related linac hardware.
 
 Considerable: Skill and creativity in devising and implementing solutions to new and complex technical problems. Good: Specification, procurement, assembly and operation of cryogenic, vacuum, and clean room apparatus and systems. Knowledge of safe operation of laboratory scale or larger scale chemical processing facilities involving hazardous materials.
Knowledge and ability to apply basic principles of physics and engineering to complex technical problems. Experience with computers, spreadsheets, technical design programs/CAD. Experience with diverse laboratory equipment. Ability to interact with vendors and support services such as machine shops and electronics.
 
Some: Skill in the generation of technical documentation for work related hardware and operations. Other: The requisite level of knowledge may be acquired by obtaining a bachelors degree in chemistry, physics or engineering, and by significant experience in a physics research. Master's Degree and 0-2 years of experience/equivalent Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years experience/equivalent
